Terms & Conditions

2.1 All bookings require a signed contract and payment of the booking deposit to secure your date.

2.2 Dates are not reserved until the deposit is received and the contract is signed.

2.3 We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

3.1 A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking date.

3.2 The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date.

3.3 Late payment may result in cancellation of services.

3.4 All payments are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

4.1 Client cancellations more than 30 days before the event: 50% of deposit refunded.

4.2 Client cancellations 15-30 days before the event: 25% of deposit refunded.

4.3 Client cancellations less than 15 days before the event: No refund.

4.4 If we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, full refund will be provided.

5.1 Edited photos will be delivered within 2-3 weeks for weddings and 1-2 weeks for other events.

5.2 Photos will be delivered via online gallery link.

5.3 We retain the right to select which photos are edited and delivered.

5.4 Raw, unedited files are not included unless specifically contracted.

6.1 Akshat Photography retains all copyrights to the photographs.

6.2 Clients receive personal usage rights for the delivered photographs.

6.3 Commercial use requires written permission and additional licensing fees.

6.4 We reserve the right to use photos for portfolio and marketing purposes.

7.1 Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for our services.

7.2 We are not responsible for missed shots due to client family/friends interference.

7.3 We are not liable for events beyond our control (weather, venue restrictions, etc.).

7.4 Equipment failure will not constitute a breach of contract if backup equipment is available.

8.1 Clients must provide accurate event details and timeline.

8.2 Clients are responsible for informing family/friends of photography schedule.

8.3 Clients must ensure venue access and any required permissions.

8.4 Clients must provide vendor meal if event exceeds 6 hours.

9.1 We maintain backups of your photos for 12 months after delivery.

9.2 After 12 months, photos may be deleted from our systems.

9.3 Extended storage is available for an additional fee.

10.1 All disputes will be resolved through mediation first.

10.2 If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved in Mumbai courts.

10.3 These terms are governed by Indian law.
